This technology eliminates the need for uncomfortable putty impressions, temporary crowns, and multiple office visits. The traditional process for receiving a dental crown typically requires two appointments spaced two weeks apart. During the first visit, the tooth is prepared, a physical mold is taken, and a plastic temporary crown is cemented. This temporary is often prone to falling off or leaking, causing sensitivity. We use a high-resolution intraoral camera to take a 3D digital scan of your prepared tooth.
